Mathew_Baynton_on_The_Wrong_Mans__Horrible_Histories_and_Yonderland

Check out the brilliant (and hilarious) teaser trailer below for The Wrong Mans, a brand new comedy series written by and starring MATHEW BAYNTON and his writing partner James Corden.

Post-production has just finished on the duo’s new comedy thriller for BBC2 (UK) and Hulu (USA). In a recent interview with the Radio Times, MATHEW describes the show as a “visually ambitious” six-parter that combines the scope of major American series with the quirky humour of the Coen brothers.

In The Wrong Mans, MATHEW and James play two loser office workers who become entangled in a deadly espionage caper after MATHEW‘s character – as seen in the awesome first-look trailer below – answers a ringing phone at the scene of an accident. The brilliant script has attracted an impressive supporting cast, including: Dawn French, Sarah Solemani, Rebecca Front, Emilia Fox, Dan Skinner, Nick Moran, Rufus Jones, Vincent Franklin and Paul Higgins.

Have a watch and get ready for what’s set to be one of the year’s most exciting new series. And check out the full Radio Times interview with MATHEW to get more details on this production and some of his other projects.

While following Pauline’s journey, each episode also explores the other marriages in the family – focusing on a different couple each week. Duncan Preston, Celia Imrie, Larry Lamb and HH Voice client ASHLEY JENSEN also star. ROSS ARMSTRONG also plays a guest role in the show.

New Trailer for S.H.I.E.L.D.

shield

Huge congrats to IAIN DE CAESTECKER whose pilot has been picked up and will now shoot a full season for 2013/2014.

IAIN stars in Marvel Studios’/Joss Whedon’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. for ABC, bringing the cinematic Marvel universe to television for the first time. The show centres around Clark Gregg’s Agent Phil Coulson (reprising his role from Marvel’s feature films) as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. IAIN plays Agent Leo Fitz, a technology guru. His character works alongside Elizabeth Henstridge’s weapons expert Agent Melinda May and the duo spend all their time together – mostly bickering – and are masters of their respective fields at a remarkably young age.

The show is set to be full of excitement and hi-octane action sequences. Here’s the official trailer:

Ambitious About Autism

Luke Treadaway and Cian Binchy

LUKE TREADAWAY – who won the Best Actor Olivier Award for his portrayal of Christopher Boone in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time last month – is a new Ambassador for the charity Ambitious about Autism.

LUKE visited the charity and its school last year while researching his role in the play about a teenager who is a maths genius and has autism. He says: “It is an honour to be asked to be an Ambassador for Ambitious about Autism. [They were] incredibly helpful in our preparations for Curious Incident. Much of my understanding for what it might be like to live with autism came from visiting TreeHouse School and spending time with its Youth Patron, Cian Binchy. The vital work this charity does is something I look forward to supporting and helping in any way I can.”

Jolanta Lasota, Chief Executive of Ambitious about Autism, says: “We’re thrilled Luke is our new Ambassador and it’s a testament to his commitment to raising autism awareness that he’s agreed to further support our work with children and young people with autism.”

Visit the Ambitious about Autism website for further info on the charity and Luke’s involvement.

IN FEAR Trailer: Time To Get Scared!

infear

The official trailer has finally been released for terrifying new British horror-thriller In Fear, starring IAIN DE CAESTECKER and ALICE ENGLERT in the leading roles.

The film, which made its debut at this year’s Sundance Film Festival to much acclaim, is director Jeremy Lovering’s tense psychological horror about a young couple’s fight to make it through the night. Driving to a music festival, Tom (IAIN) and Lucy (ALICE) have plans to stay at a countryside hotel. But with hotel signs leading them in circles and darkness falling, they soon become lost in a maze of country roads…and the target of an unknown tormentor. The film plays out in real time and hinges on a claustrophobic, unrelentingly tense visual style.

In Fear will be released in the UK in August. Check out the haunting trailer below:
