Theatre Awards UK 2011 Nominations

The Theatrical Management Association (TMA) has announced the nominations for its renamed Theatre Awards UK 2011.

The awards, previously known as the TMAs, are the only nationwide awards for excellence in regional theatre, honouring “outstanding work seen on stages throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland”.

Congratulations to the following clients:

BERTIE CARVEL
Nominated for Best Performance In A Musical for ‘Mrs Trunchbull’ in the RSC’s Matilda: The Musical at The Courtyard Theatre, Stratford-Upon-Avon.

CLAIRE PRICE
Nominated for Best Supporting Performance for ‘Sylvia’ in The Pride at the Crucible, Sheffield Theatres.

And Sheffield Theatres’ revival of the musical Me And My Girl, for which STEPHEN FRY wrote the book, has been nominated for Best Musical Production.

The winners across all categories will be announced at a lunchtime ceremony at the Banqueting House, Whitehall, on 30th October 2011.
