Candy, a fashion magazine that celebrates “transvestism, transexuality, crossdressing and androgyny in all [its] glory,” features TILDA SWINTON as its latest cover star. In the magazine’s fourth issue – “The Extra Extravagance Issue” – she is transformed into a retro-futuristic cabaret diva with a flowing mane of red curls and wrapped in custom gold lamé. Very profound and interesting piece by Miss.
Swinton. Articulating what usually remain
vague movements in the “soul” (or the bowels sometimes!). I would wish she would comment
on paintings by Hammershoej. I’m posessed by the mystery of time.
