Murders & Mockumentaries

Midsomer Murders returns to our screens this evening with a brand new series and LUCY BRIERS stars in tonight’s opening episode, ‘Death In The Slow Lane‘.

As is standard fare in the lovely, quaint village of Midsomer, a local DJ is crushed to death at a traditional girls’ boarding school and pretty soon, the death toll starts to rise… Lucy plays ‘Jessica Wingate’, the bullied but good-hearted daughter of the school’s headmistress. Let’s hope she escapes a painful and grueling death!

Don’t miss it – 8pm-10pm, ITV1

You can also see LUCY BRIERS in the brand new BBC4 comedy Twenty Twelve – a mockumentary about the team organising the London Olympics.

This 6-part series, written and directed by John Morton and narrated by David Tennant, follows the personal and professional challenges faced by the Olympic Deliverance team who must try to get through to the end of the day, the end of the week and the end of the year without all the wheels falling off at once!

Lucy will star in episodes 4 (Monday 4th April) and 5 (Monday 11th April) at 10pm on BBC4, playing two very different but equally hilarious characters!

If you missed the first two episodes, you can watch them again on BBC iPlayer: Episode 1 | Episode 2
