Hogg Leads Blind

EDWARD HOGG and Romanian born actress Alexandra Maria Lara (both alumni of the Berlinale’s Shooting Stars talent program) have just joined director Andrzej Jakimowski’s feature film Blind Watching.

This film is set to shoot in May and marks the Polish-born director’s English language debut. Written by Jakimowski, the script tells the story of a charismatic (and blind) spatial orientation instructor (Hogg) who ends up breaking teacher/student rules to help a female student (Lara) rediscover the pleasures of life.

Set up as a Poland-France-Portugal co-production between ZAiR (Warsaw), KMBO (Paris) and Filmes do Tejo II Multimedia (Lisbon), the film is backed by the Polish Film Institute, the Center National de la Cinematographie (CNC), the Institito Do Cinema E Do Audiovisual (ICA), Canal + Cyfrowy Poland and Forum Film Distribution. Mike Downey of U.K. production and finance banner Film and Music Entertainment co-produces.
