This Sunday 17th April sees the first ever UK performance of Eve Ensler’s award-winning play The Vagina Monologues with a South Asian cast. MANJINDER VIRK is one of the actresses performing in the production at the Southbank Centre, alongside Meera Syal, Laila Rouass, Shelley Conn and Pooja Ghai, comedienne Shappi Khorsandi and The Apprentice‘s Saira Khan.
This one-off V-Day benefit production celebrates the vibrancy, strength and talent of South Asian women and raises awareness about the issues faced by South Asian women through the work of Newham Asian Women’s Project.
