BAFTA Television Awards Nominees

The official nominations have been announced for the Philips British Academy Television Awards, which will take place on Sunday 22 May at London’s Grosvenor House, hosted by Graham Norton.

STEPHEN FRY is nominated for Best Entertainment Performance for QI


Misfits
– which starred MATTHEW McNULTY, EDWARD HOGG, SYDNEY STEVENSON and NATALIE KLAMAR – is nominated in both the Best Drama Series and Best New Media categories.


Downton Abbey
– starring MICHELLE DOCKERY, THOMAS HOWES and ROSE LESLIE – is nominated for Best Drama Series.


Sherlock
– which starred BERTIE CARVEL – is also nominated for Best Drama Series.


Any Human Heart –
starring MATTHEW MacFADYEN, JAMES MUSGRAVE, STUART McQUARRIE, NATASHA LITTLE and PASCAL LANGDALE – is nominated for Best Drama Serial.


The Sinking Of The Laconia
– which starred MORVEN CHRISTIE – is nominated for Best Drama Serial.


Waterloo Road
– starring WILLIAM ASH and LINZEY COCKER – is nominated for Best Continuing Drama.


Rev
(starring JIMMY AKINGBOLA) and Peep Show (starring PATERSON JOSEPH) are both nominated in the Best Situation Comedy category.



Downton Abbey
and Sherlock are also both nominated for the YouTube Audience Award, which is voted for entirely by the public. Be sure to cast your vote at BAFTA’s Official YouTube channel.
