London Festival Fringe Nominations

The longlist nominations have been announced for the 2011 London Awards for Art and Performance – part of the London Festival Fringe – and they include numerous productions starring Hamilton Hodell clients.

The ‘London Fringe’ is the independent and fringe art and performance that takes place throughout the year and the awards were established to recognise passion and excellence in artists and performers working at the forefront of their art, across many art-forms including Film, Theatre, Music, Poetry, Photography, Literature, Comedy and Dance.

This year’s awards will be presented at the Waldorf Hilton Hotel on Thursday 28th July. Nominations are based on highly rated reviews of shows and publications that have taken place in each of the ten award categories, alongside the votes of the audience. See details below on how you can vote.

The shortlist will be announced at the Presentation Ceremony. In the meantime, congratulations to all our clients in the following nominated projects:

Visit the London Festival Fringe website for more info and a full list of categories and nominations. The voting process is quite complex! There is a panel of judges, each of whom selects their top choices, and these votes are then combined with reviews across a broad range of press and also with the number of ‘likes’ that each production has received on both Facebook and Twitter. So go check out how the voting and judging works and be sure to cast your vote(s) for your favourite(s).
