Tildawards

Huge congratulations to TILDA SWINTON and JOHN C. REILLY as We Need To Talk About Kevin was named Best Film at the 55th London BFI Film Festival this week.

Lynne Ramsay’s movie beat out stiff competition from a slew of other movies. Filmmaker John Madden, who chaired the jury, said he and his fellow jury members were “united by a common sense of unflinching human enquiry” after watching Ramsay’s film. “In the end, we were simply bowled over by one film, a sublime, uncompromising tale of the torment that can stand in the place of love.”

Kevin has been a massive success amongst fans and critics alike, receiving rave reviews across the board for stunning performances and beautiful film-making. It’s currently showing in cinemas across the UK. If you haven’t seen it yet, get your tickets now.

In other news, the 9th Annual Lucie Awards ceremony – the prestigious awards which honour the luminaries of the photography industry – was held this week and the Fashion Layout of the Year award went to W Magazine for TILDA SWINTON, photographed by Tim Walker.

You may remember our blog about this beautiful, other-worldly shoot from earlier in the year. Above are a selection of images and you can see the full spread on our article Out Of This World.

Massive congrats to Tilda and Tim!
