A brand new revival of the wonderful musical comedy Company is now showing at the Sheffield Crucible. The production stars a trio of  Hamilton Hodell actors – DANIEL EVANS, CLAIRE PRICE and SAMANTHA SPIRO – and has already been thrilling audiences for the last two weeks and receiving rave 4 and 5 star reviews across the board (see below).

With music and lyrics by the legendary Stephen Sondheim and a book by George Firth, Company was originally produced and directed on Broadway by Harold Prince in 1971. It is set in 1970 New York on the eve of Robert’s (EVANS) 35th birthday. He has good friends (PRICE and SPIRO, amongst others), a gorgeous apartment and a girlfriend (or three). But is he happy..?

Jonathan Munby directs a brilliant ensemble cast in a production brimming with fantastic songs such as The Ladies Who Lunch, Getting Married Today and Being Alive.

Company is a sassy, witty musical about the joys and trials of love and friendship.  It’s showing until 7th January 2012 so if you haven’t seen it yet, BOOK NOW and enjoy a fantastic night at the theatre! You can see a video preview below…
