BAFTA Children’s Awards 2012

The nominations are out for this year’s BAFTA Children’s Awards. Huge congratulations to all Hamilton Hodell clients who have been nominated or starred in nominated productions!

The ceremony will take place on Sunday 25 November at the London Hilton on Park Lane and you can view the full list of nominations on the BAFTA website. The Hamilton Hodell nominees are:

Nominated in the Performer category, for his leading performance in CBBC’s Horrible Histories.

The BBC’s Lost Christmas, which starred CHRISTINE BOTTOMLEY, has been nominated in the Drama category.

Studio Soi/BBC One’s The Gruffalo’s Child, starring SHIRLEY HENDERSON as the voice of the Gruffalo Child, is nominated in the Animation category.

Columbia/Sony/Aardman feature film Arthur Christmas, starring HUGH LAURIE as the voice of ‘Steve’ and ASHLEY JENSEN as the voice of elf ‘Bryony’, is nominated in the Feature Film category.


The BAFTA Kids’ Vote is now also open. Visit the BAFTA Kids’ Vote website now and cast your votes for your favourite film. HH nominees include:

Arthur Christmas, starring the voices of HUGH LAURIE and ASHLEY JENSEN
Men In Black 3, starring EMMA THOMPSON
