Good news! After the huge success of the first season of Endeavour, ITV has just ordered a second four-part series for the Inspector Morse prequel, which stars SHAUN EVANS in the titular role.

The first four-part series of the crime drama aired in April this year and consistently won its time slot for ITV, averaging 7 million viewers and a 25% share. The new series will be a quartet of 120-minute films set in 1966 in which SHAUN plays a young Morse, with Roger Allam as Detective Inspector Fred Thursday. Russell Lewis writes the series and novelist Colin Dexter, who created Morse, is a consultant to the show.

Congrats to SHAUN and the team – we can’t wait for new episodes next year!
