ITV’s hit period drama Mr Selfridge will return to UK television screens on Sunday 19th January for its eagerly-awaited second series.
The doors of the Selfridges department store will be thrust open once again as Jeremy Piven’s beaming entrepreneur returns, selling his wares to the wartime inhabitants of London. Series 2 is set five years after Series 1 and sees Mr. Selfridge celebrating of the store’s fifth anniversary whilst the nation teeters on the brink of World War I.
Two HH clients reprise their roles in this second series: GREGORY FITOUSSI returns as head window dresser Henri Lecalir and AMY BETH HAYES is back as department store assistant Kitty. The show also welcomes new character Delphine Day, played by HH client POLLY WALKER. Delphine is a bohemian novelist and businesswoman who takes Mr. Selfridge’s wife Rose under her wing.
