The first is Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel, which was released back in March and in which TILDA is transformed into the magnificentl Madame D., a wealthy old widow in her mid-80s, sporting numerous age spots, wrinkles and a fabulous crimped beehive. It gets its UK DVD release on 7th July.

Next up is Jim Jarmusch’s offbeat and amusing vampire feature Only Lovers Left Alive in which TILDA stars as one of two star-crossed bloodsuckers. The other vampire is played by another HH client, TOM HIDDLESTON; Indiewire describes their performances as “cherishable…so good, and so well-matched”. The movie was released in cinemas back in April and is scheduled for a September DVD release.

The third TILDA movie included in the list is the hugely-anitcipated Snowpiercer, helmed by Korean director Bong Joon-ho. The film has received rave reviews to date, with Variety calling it “an enormously ambitious, visually stunning and richly satisfying futuristic epic” (see our ‘Rave Reviews for SNOWPIERCER’ article). Indiewire have included it in their playlist due to its “remarkably rich, coherent future world…smart and complex politics [and] excellent performances”. TILDA stars as the grotesque Mason, complete with Yorkshire accent and terrible teeth! The UK release date is still tbc, but it’s currently due to arrive in cinemas in July.

Also included in Indiewire’s list is the recently-released, Tom Cruise-led action blockbuster Edge Of Tomorrow, starring HH client FRANZ DRAMEH. Directed by Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity), the film melds the conceit of Groundhog Day into a sci-fi war picture complete with huge action sequences, massive CGI and an alien-occupied Europe, combining the elements into “something that feels fresh, aided by a script that’s significantly smarter than it needs to be.” FRANZ plays Ford, the muscle in infantry unit The J Squad, led by Tom Cruise’s character. Edge Of Tomorrow is in cinemas now.

Be sure to watch all these great movies on the big screen and DVD, and you can check out Indiewire’s full list and see what they have to say about each one here.
