Sleuth Spoof: A TOUCH OF CLOTH Returns

Tickling and twisting crime drama cliches, Charlie Brooker’s original comedy show – the hilarious and popular A Touch Of Cloth – returns this weekend for its third series, starring NAVIN CHOWDHRY.

A Touch Of Cloth casts an acerbic and very silly eye over the world of cop dramas in an attempt to poke fun at the very best (and worst) of every police show ever written. Sleuthing collides with spoofing when maverick, booze-addled DCI Jack Cloth (John Hannah) is teamed with plucky, no-nonsense sidekick DC Anne Oldman (Suranne Jones). In this third series, things get personal when DCI Cloth investigates the grisly murder of his estranged brother Terry (also played by a bewigged John Hannah). Catching the killer won’t be easy, but at least the troubled detective can count on the support of his formidable team, which includes NAVIN, returning to his role as Asap Quereshi.

A Touch Of Cloth III: Too Cloth For Comfort is a two-parter, airing Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th August at 9pm on Sky 1 HD. Check out the trailer and preview below:
