Following in the footsteps of uber successful series The Great British Bake Off, a new show has been announced in the name of charity: The Great British Sewing Bee. A bundle of famous faces will take their places at the sewing machines in a bid to impress judges Patrick Grant and May Martin over three special celebrity episodes in aid of BBC Children In Need.
Our very lovely client PAM FERRIS will be competing in the second episode, which airs next week on Thursday 23rd October at 8pm on BBC Two. PAM used her past experience with a sewing machine to take on the competition, saying: “I was never a professional dressmaker. I had a little training, but that was over 40 years ago! It was amazing the way memories came flooding back as soon as I started. I had a lot of fun for a wonderful cause – helping raise money for BBC Children in Need.”
Sara Cox steps in as guest host for the second episode, which sees PAM picking up her needles and competing alongside dance expert Louie Spence, comedian Mark Watson and television presenter Gaby Roslin. Tune in next Thursday to watch the fun unfold!
