Huge congratulations go to the brilliant SHIRLEY HENDERSON who this week won the BAFTA Scotland Award for Best Actress (Television) for her strikingly poignant and moving performance in Channel 4’s small town murder drama Southcliffe.
Southcliffe aired earlier in 2014 and told the tragic story of a fictional English market town whose community is ripped apart by a spate of shootings. SHIRLEY gave a breathtaking performance as a grieving mother at the centre of the drama, left devastated in the aftermath of the inexplicable chain of menacing events. A very well deserved win – congrats SHIRLEY!
