Huge congrats go to SINÉAD MATTHEWS who this week won the Manchester Theatre Award for Best Studio Performance, for her stunning portrayal of ‘Pink’ in the Lucy Morrison-directed Pests at the Royal Exchange Studio.
Pests told the story of Pink and Rolly; two sisters from the same nest, both trapped in a tiny, rotting world, both cuffed to a past that refuses to release them, with one wanting out and the other needing her in. The show played in Manchester back in March 2014 before coming into London’s Royal Court Theatre in May and touring the UK during the summer. This is a very well-deserved win for SINÉAD, who was brilliant in the production. Go SINÉAD!
