Explosive Premiere

Tender Napalm, the new play by Time Out, Evening Standard and Critics Circle Award-winner Philip Ridley, will receive its world premiere at Southwark Playhouse this month.

Ridley’s first new play since the highly acclaimed Piranha Heights in 2008, Tender Napalm is a high-concept two hander that weaves a compelling theatrical tapestry to rewrite the language of love. JACK GORDON stars in this explosive and poetic exploration of love in the face of catastrophe.

The production reunites Ridley with the team behind the hugely successful premiere of his BNP-based play Moonfleece, including director David Mercatali. It also marks a reunion with JACK GORDON, who starred in 2009’s Ridley-directed feature film Heartless.

Tender Napalm opens on the 19th April and runs until the 14th May. You can book your tickets online at southwarkplayhouse.co.uk. Be sure to book early to guarantee a seat for this hotly tipped production!
